Reupholstering an older well made chair or couch may be more cost affective in the long run than going out and spending money on less quality furniture every couple of years. You say it's outdated? Freshen it up with a modern or bold print. with so many fabric choices, make it your own one of a kind piece.
Yes I absolutely re-do! Nothing like finding a tossed out piece and giving it a fresh new life. Besides i hate seeing tossed out furniture waiting for the landfill...BLAH!
ReplyDeleteLove this chaise, and my daughter and I are all about "trolling" consignment stores and Goodwill...she just lucked out and got a green leather wing back with nail heads and button tufting...the leather is an ugly forest green and the seat is well worn...but the chair has great bones and one day she will redo it...she got it for 25.00!
